On the occasion of Nowruz (Iranian New Year) and Bangla Noboborsho Iran Cultural Centre, Dhaka and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy jointly organized a discussion and celebration program on ‘The Traditions and Signs of Nowruz’ at the Sangeet & Nrityakala auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on 6th April, 2018, Friday at 3.45 p.m.

H.E. Prof. Dr. Gowher Rizvi, Adviser (International Affairs) to the Honorable Prime Minister, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present as Chief Guest.

Mr. Mo Hamid, Former Director General, Bangladesh Television and Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Sarker, Chairman, Dept. of Persian Language & Literature, University of Dhaka were present as Special Guests.

ICC Cultural counselor Seyed Mousa Hosseini delivered the welcome address while  Md. Badrul Anam Bhuiyan  director of Drama and Cinematography Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy presided over the program.

 

In the second part of the program colourful Cultural presentation drawn the audience attraction, was included Bangla and Persian song, Recitation, Drama performed by the students of Persian Language & Literature Department of Dhaka University and heart touching Baul song of Samir Baul.
